As of July 4, 2011, most of my blogs are on indefinite sabbatical, but you can still keep up with me at KyForward, Twitter, my writing and photo blogs, and JSH News!
Maybe they can re-do that intersection and make it make more sense. Either way...thats a small loss. That building has been there forever. So long old friend. Another little piece of my childhood gone. Growing up and old is sometimes a bit sad.

Mission Statement
As the economy continues to spiral downward, I'm going to take a moment each day and salute an empty building in our fair city of Louisville. (It's all grist for my someday-to-be-published 15-volume book What Used To Be Where Back In The Day; start reserving your copies now.)
This blog's ONLY concern is empty storefronts, for their own sake. In general, I have no idea if these stores went out of business, or moved elsewhere, nor is it really within the scope of this blog to seek that info out.
Gee, wonder what they want to build here...gas station or bank?
