As of July 4, 2011, most of my blogs are on indefinite sabbatical, but you can still keep up with me at KyForward, Twitter, my writing and photo blogs, and JSH News!

4111 Oechsli
Right down the way from 4109 Oechsli, another vacancy in the real estate desert.
I love this blog. The same thing is happening in my area...lots of empty spaces where businesses once thrived. Another strange thing is often there are new office-like buildings created, but they are never filled. The world is becoming a ghost town.
Jeffrey Scott Holland's new novel "Toulouse-inations" now available!
Mission Statement
As the economy continues to spiral downward, I'm going to take a moment each day and salute an empty building in our fair city of Louisville. (It's all grist for my someday-to-be-published 15-volume book What Used To Be Where Back In The Day; start reserving your copies now.)
This blog's ONLY concern is empty storefronts, for their own sake. In general, I have no idea if these stores went out of business, or moved elsewhere, nor is it really within the scope of this blog to seek that info out.
